Employers invited to JCB showcase for young people with learning difficulties
Leading Staffordshire manufacturer JCB, as part of the local Strategic Employment Group, is inviting employers to an inspirational event on 24 May 2019 at the firm’s World Headquarters at Rocester, where young people with learning difficulties will showcase their skills and qualities to employers.
Speakers include local MPs Jack Brereton, MP for Stoke South, and Gareth Snell, MP for Stoke Central, plus JCB apprenticeships scheme director Max Jeffrey and scheme leader Chris Morris.
Employers will also hear from young people who have benefitted from employment opportunities and be able to learn more about the benefits of employing a young person with learning difficulties.
The event is free to attend and runs from 10am to 3pm, including lunch and a tour of the JCB factory. Download the agenda here: JCB Agenda
