In partnership with Shropshire Council, Staffordshire University are involved with Eureka Moment – a business support programme available for SME’s to help them to realise their potential.
Support is on offer to eligible businesses to realise their Eureka moment through:
- Free business briefings and updates
- Free one to one consultancy support to identify opportunities to be more innovative
The purpose of the scheme is to offer businesses support to consider innovative solutions to the opportunities or challenges they face. This could include looking at existing processes, exploring product or process development, or bringing new services or processes to the market.
In addition to free briefings and one to one support, businesses may be eligible for a grant to implement identified actions. Grants of between £2000 and £10,000 may be available to businesses who have undertaken a health check under the project. The grant needs to be matched by the business’s own funding.

- Small to medium enterprises
- Social enterprises
- Community interest group
- Located in Staffordshire , Shropshire, Herefordshire, Telford & Wrekin and Staffordshire local authority areas.
