International Trade Week is back!
From 31 October to 4 November 2022, International Trade Week is back and set to showcase a brand-new series of events designed to help businesses of all shapes and sizes maximise their global potential.
Organised by the Department for International Trade (DIT), the week includes business and sector-led activities, showcasing events and workshops available to businesses of all sizes and all sectors, across the UK, free of charge.
During International Trade Week 2021, the Government launched the Export Strategy, to support businesses to start and grow their exports. This was designed to focus on the barriers faced by UK exporters, particularly SMEs, such as costs, lack of knowledge, and constraints in capacity and networks, which are often cited as issues.
Across International Trade Week 2022, key initiatives from the Strategy will be showcased and delegates will hear from businesses about their work to support it.
One year on, the Department for International Trade remains committed to helping UK businesses seize international trade opportunities and this week will help organisations learn more about selling globally, understand investment potential in the UK and connect with trade industry experts.
