Regulation for growth consultation

Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire LEP has been chosen to pilot a government initiative on regulation.

The “Regulation for Growth” project involves bringing together all National and Local Regulators in conjunction with Business, to improve their working relationship and to support the growth and prosperity of Stoke and Staffordshire.

The project currently has three streams of work:

• The creation of a regulatory charter- an agreement between businesses and regulators
• The improvement of communicating business advice
• The cultural change of regulators

We are very keen to engage with businesses to garner their feedback on what Regulators can do to improve the working relationship with business and also provide input into the draft Regulatory Charter. More information on how you can give feedback to the consultation is available online.
